Founded in Rome in 2001, Giancarlo Zema Design Group develops sustainable architecture, smart infrastructure, floating habitats and design projects. Its work is recognised for organic forms and the integration of technology into the built environment.

The campus brings together the architectural design of Giancarlo Zema Design Group, the project leadership of Fabrizio Crimi and the technological partnership of R. Rockefeller S.C.
The Milazzo programme connects sovereign AI and digital capabilities, the planned AGS geothermal pilot, data-centre applications and a separate virtual-production activity within the same innovation campus.
Its architectural masterplan provides a common setting for these complementary programmes on the former Montecatini industrial site.
